While the Fleet Launch is the focus of the weekend, there will be lots more to do for visitors and locals. This year, the Alma Fleet Launch has partnered with the Rising Tides Trails & Tunes festival (October 5th to 14th) to make the weekend even more special for visitors. Organizers are taking great care to incorporate events that will appeal to both adults and children during the days surrounding the launch. While many activities are free, tickets to the other events can be purchased. Links to purchase those tickets will be posted soon.

Restaurants will be planning special menus for the event as well as activities and launch-themed drink specials. As part of the event, there will be music, food, children’s events, and stargazing, On Saturday evening, a kitchen party and raffle will be held and a food truck with tasty options will be available at the location.

All the events are outlined on this website’s Menu under “2024 Schedule.” Although some events are free other require the purchase of tickets. Spots are liminted to please check the schedule in advance so you won’t miss out on these ticketed events!

There will also be activities in Fundy National Park. In addition to attending the weekend’s special events, visitors can hike the park’s trails, take a bike ride, watch for wildlife, or take part in other ranger-led activities. There’s never a dearth of things to do in the area!
